- Subscription Details: Service name, billing amount, currency, billing cycle (weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly), next payment date, reminder settings, notes, and price change information if applicable.
- Local Storage Only: All data is stored in the device's local SQLite database and is never transmitted to any server or third-party service.
- No Personal Identity Information: We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any other personally identifiable information.
- No Device Identifiers: We do not collect device IDs, advertising identifiers, or any tracking data.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your subscription data is used solely for:
- Displaying your subscription list and payment schedules
- Calculating monthly and yearly spending totals
- Sending local notification reminders before payment due dates
- Sending alerts about upcoming price changes
3. Permissions & Their Purpose
SubSnap requests the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS: To display payment reminders and price change alerts.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM: To precisely schedule notification reminders at the correct time.
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED: To restore scheduled notifications after device restart.
- INTERNET: Used only for opening external links (this privacy policy, contact email, and Google Play rating page). No data is transmitted over the network.
4. Data Sharing
We do not share your data with any third party. We do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs, or data collection services. Your subscription information never leaves your device.
5. Data Security
Your data is stored locally on your device in a SQLite database and is protected by Android's application sandbox. No data is transmitted over the internet, eliminating network-based security risks.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
Your subscription data remains on your device until you uninstall SubSnap. Upon uninstallation, all locally stored data is automatically deleted. You can also manually delete individual subscriptions within the app.
7. Children's Privacy
SubSnap is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.
